I dislike salesclerk approach me unexpectedly. What I dislike most is the word‘No Problem’replies from salesclerk. How it become a problem? I come here to buy, you sell,  its’ a win-win phase.
      
John Loring, the design director of Tiffany, then came to tailor's shop Hayard at     Mount Street which can offer informal private service. The tailor Doug Hayward designed clothes for many celebrities, including Sammy Davis, Roger Moore, Michael Caine and so on. Walking through sofa, table and armchair in living room, you can watch   tailors are working at the back, at the same time semiretired Hayward is sitting on the armchair. “Will you let me come in with an Armani suit?” John Loring was joking at  the door. He has been a client of this shop since 1960’s.

Next stop is World's End Nurseries. “You can find all elements here of British garden.”
John Loring makes such judgment for this garden center on King’s Road. “How       beautiful those jasmine flowers are! Just look how big it is. Bring them back to home, you will start a new life style.” He was looking some clematises and calliopsises of  British flavor”, but he lacks of interesting in looking petunia and the likes. “ They will   grow long and thin vines in chaos.” He should know that because he design garden too. He has designed Tiffany Family Garden for New York Restoration Project recently. The project of charity, founded by Bette Midler, aims to beautify environment of New York. John Loring has another British garden behind his united villa backyard.

"My father is Yorkshireman,” John Loring said.” Everyone think that American and    British people speak the same language, so we have no difference from each other.  But ours is different. The way we speak, eat, decorate and dress is completely        different.
Stephen Long serves the British people like us. “The shop Long has existed at the   same position for forty years without fall. People describe it appropriately as a utensil grocery store—it specializes in pottery and some textiles can be dated back to the time before 1830  ---or in shop owner’s words, this is a thrift store ---the only one in    London.

"You can not find any thrift store better than this one,” Loring said.” It has            incomparable British charming and style.  People shall know the place. Not very     exquisite decoration, but you will find the matter you want, and quality will satisfy you. You know that something at some place are good so that it will save time for you.  But in Stephen Long, you need to toss and turn restlessly everywhere---it is the nature for man searching. Eleanor Lambert, Paloma Picasso and I, even Jackie Onassis   are all fond of Stephen Long, for his is the only man with perfect taste in London.
   
Before going to the airport, John Loring came to the last stop Swann's Way which specializes in goods from Austria. One of the shop owners is John Loring’s old friend. John Loring tried a coarse drill jacket of stand-up collar in Chinese tunic suit style. Match with other more traditional clothes he dresses, it appear an amazing effect.” The architect I will meet tonight in Copenhagen surely appreciate the cloth,” he said with smiling, as the thoughts have flied to the capital of Holland. There, he is designing winter scene for Tivoli Gardens, and creating a new book that reveals Tivoli spirit with photographer Harry Benson.
