How can you tell a real LV hand bag from a fake one?

Sometimes, the stamps in the leather are off( like it will say Louis Vuitton and it would be crooked) my friend took hers to a LV store and they checked it out for her, to see if it was real

[Lindsey A] : Whether or not you buy it from a reputable store. If not, it's fake. Plus, I hear if you follow the styles pretty closely, you will notice the fake ones from the real ones.
